For over 25 years, Washington Bakery & Restaurant specialize in Hong Kong Style cuisine and baked goods in the heart of San Francisco’s Chinatown. From our signature Hong Kong Milk Tea and Sponge Cakes to our popular Wonton Noodle Soups and Baked Rices, we have something for everyone to enjoy.
In 2018 the family business was taken over by the next generation in hopes to continue the family business as the first generation plans their retirement. In 2019 it marked the 23rd year anniversary for Washington Bakery & Restaurant so we celebrated it with a Grand Re-opening. We look forward to another 23 more years in the future.
WBR has been a women owned restaurant since 1996. From mother to daughter. Chinatown is a home to many. It keeps our culture and allows us the opportunity to share our culture and flavors with the rest of the world. It was a struggle before and it’s a new struggle now but we will get through it with everyone. Please support your local small businesses and be kind to one another because we are all fighting to get through together. Times are rough and we are in a time of need for support and solidarity.
